You are so right! Which is why I have resigned myself to stop crocheting/knitting for my brother's kids. Despite several requests, I've not received one picture of them in the outfits I made. Not sure if I'm being selfish, but I do love to take pics of the recipients if I can, and put them on the project's Ravelry page.
